That question started everything. It became a career, a methodology, and a life lived at the edge of what's possible.
I'm Alex Grabher, founder of AG Performance in Zurich. My path started with relentless curiosity about human limits — my own first. That curiosity became fifteen years of study and coaching practice, fusing mindset training, disciplined recovery and full-body alignment; ancient wisdom with modern science.
The result is the A6 Athlete's Core System: six pillars that treat you as a whole — not a set of muscles to train, but a system to align. It's how I coach professional athletes, executives and everyone serious about performing at their best, for decades.
"Now, I help others do the same."
I'm an active ultra trail runner. Every race is an experiment in applied performance: what I test at the extreme comes back into how I coach in Zurich.
One of the hardest footraces on the planet. Utah canyon terrain, 90+ hours non-stop. Every A6 pillar tested simultaneously — sleep as a tactical decision, fueling by what the gut tolerates at hour 60.
Home terrain. Mountain racing where altitude, environment and terrain demand everything — and nervous system control decides who finishes.
The full Camino in roughly two weeks — 60+ kilometres a day, day after day. Not a race: a study in sustained output, recovery management and what daily discomfort teaches that no interval session can.
This isn't about being extreme. It's about credibility: when I talk to you about resilience, breathing under pressure or sleep strategy, I'm describing something I've managed in my own body at mile 140 — not something I read.
Mind, body and performance treated as one. No pillar optional.
Modern diagnostics blended with principles that have always worked.
No averages. Every plan tailored to the person in front of me.
Sustainable health beyond the training session — built for decades.
Limited availability. Currently accepting new concierge clients in Zurich.
