CHF 35 a racket. Drop it at TC Witikon in Zurich or in the Wollerau area and it comes back ready to play — and every racket in a ten or twenty pack gets a new grip fitted as well, which most shops charge for separately.
| Turnaround | Forty-eight hours as standard, no surcharge. Express, ready within twenty-four hours, is CHF 20 per racket. |
| Drop-off | TC Witikon in Zürich, or the Wollerau area on the lakeside. Collection from another address in the Zürich region is CHF 20 per order. |
| The string | Bring your own, or use ours. Polyester, multifilament and hybrid setups — chosen for how you play and what your arm tolerates. |
| The grip | A new grip fitted on every racket in a ten or twenty pack, included in the price. |
| Your spec | Tension, pattern and string logged after the first job, so every one after it comes back the same — or deliberately different. |
All prices in Swiss francs, per racket, labour included. Packages carry the same discount as our coaching blocks — five per cent over ten, ten per cent over twenty — and are valid twelve months from purchase.
Grips are included on packages only. Express, ready in twenty-four hours, is CHF 20 per racket. Collection from another address is CHF 20 per order. Packages can be shared inside a family or a team.
Most club players wait for a string to snap. By then it has been dead for weeks — polyester loses tension fastest in its first twenty-four hours and keeps sliding from there, so the racket that feels powerless in February is usually not a technique problem.
The working rule has not changed: restring as many times a year as you play hours in a week. Three hours a week, three times a year. Train four times a week through a winter season and you are closer to monthly. Indoor courts in Zürich run warmer and faster than outdoor clay, which shortens the life of a set further.
Restring if the ball sits flat on a clean strike, if the strings stop snapping back into place, if the stringbed sounds dull, or if your elbow has started talking to you after sessions. A fresh set is the cheapest performance gain in the sport — and cheaper than the physio appointment a dead string eventually books for you.
Rackets are taken in at TC Witikon in Zürich and in the Wollerau area on the Zürichsee — which covers Wollerau, Freienbach, Pfäffikon SZ, Richterswil, Wädenswil, Hütten and Schönenberg. Zürich city, Zollikon, Küsnacht, Erlenbach and Herrliberg are all inside the collection radius if dropping off does not fit your week.
If you already train with us, hand them over at your session and they come back at the next one.
Forty-eight hours from drop-off, as standard, at no extra charge. If you need it sooner, express is ready within twenty-four hours for CHF 20 on top.
At TC Witikon in Zurich, or in the Wollerau area on the Zurich lakeside. If neither suits, collection from another address in the Zurich region is CHF 20 per order.
No. Bring your own and it is CHF 35, or use ours for CHF 55 — a quality polyester or multifilament, chosen to suit how you play and what your arm can take.
The old rule still holds: restring as many times a year as you play hours per week. Play three hours a week and that is roughly three times a year. Polyester also goes dead long before it breaks, so if your shots have lost their bite the string is usually the reason.
On the ten and twenty racket packages, yes — a new grip fitted on every racket in the package, which most shops charge separately for. On single stringings the grip is not included.
Twelve months from the day you buy it, and you decide when to use each stringing. Packages can be shared inside a family or a team.
Whatever you ask for. If you do not know, tell us how you play and we will set it and log it, so the next one comes back identical — or deliberately adjusted.
No. Stringing is open to anyone, client or not.
Tell us how many rackets, what string and when you need them — we come back with a drop-off time.
